Valentines Cards 2018: Illustrated Favourites

January 28, 2018

Fed up of the same boring and insipid Valentine's Day cards?

Here's a handy guide to some refreshing, illustrated options for you.

I've been having a mooch around the internet to find some beautiful, funny or geeky illustrated Valentine's Day cards from some independent UK artists.

While searching for cards for a science nerd, I came across one by Protease Prints who does some marvellous anatomical drawings.

If travel is your thing then Helena Carrington's city illustrations might be right up your street.  Is Paris your city of love?

Typography and bold patterns? Got that covered too.  With a gorgeous card from Oh Hello Studio.

Day of the Dead designs are rocking everywhere at the moment but there's a particularly wonderful design from Print is Dead if skeletons and flowers are your love's thing.  Why wouldn't they be?

For a card that subtle on cheesiness and full on texture and bold shapes , then check out Laylart's stunning lino printed designs.

I'm a big fan of pop culture and all things geeky so I couldn't resist the designs from HeyJoeyItsEstelle.  This Stranger Things one is fab.

Here's something a little rock n' roll.  If you like your typography monochrome and sharp then you'll adore Floppy Toast.

Last but not least, if you fancy some papercut love then you'll find some new designs right here at Paper Scissors Rock from the All The Love collection.

Thanks for reading and for supporting independent artists. We thank you xxx
